As you may have already heard LinkedIn has opted users IN to their social advertising program. Your picture and/or name may appear along with 3rd party advertisements, companies you follow, etc.

- Click on Settings
- Click on Account
- Click on Manage Social Advertising
- Uncheck the box what was checked in by LinkedIn on your behalf.
We think of LinkedIn as a trusted social network. What do you think of this Facebook-like privacy change? Do you think they learned their lesson due to all the backlash?
On one hand, I understand LinkedIn needs to make money, but a move like this is costly to their reputation as well.
