The 2013 AIPF General Meeting is taking place from September 29 – October 1, 2013 in Washington, D.C., and I’m excited to announce that I’ll be presenting about the Legal Ethics of Social Media use for lawyers and law firms. I’ve never been to Washington, D.C. either so I’m pretty stoked about that as well!
Here’s a quick overview of my presentation:
“Learn about the array of ethical pitfalls that occur while using social media for law firm business development and marketing. This includes social media competence, advertising and solicitation and relationships.”
I’ll be speaking on Monday, September 30th, 2013 at 4:50 pm. My presentation will run approximately 30 minutes.
Just in case you’re wondering, the Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF) is a group of independent boutique law firms that devote the majority of their practice towards Intellectual Property (trademark law, copyright law, patent law, etc.) AIPF helps member firms and their attorneys in a number of ways including improving their business management abilities and improving their abilities to serve the needs of their respective clients, Members benefit by member developed programming and webinars on subjects of high interest to in-house counsel, patent, trademark, copyright and licensing portfolio managers.
