Lucky for you it’s a lot simpler today. Canva┬áis an online graphic design platform. It offers free access to a wide assortment of design tools and options, as well as premium options for paying customers. I use it every day and I encourage you to check it out. I use it for all my blog post and social media graphics.

Where To Find Pictures For Your Blog Posts and Status Updates

There are tons of websites that offer free, beautiful graphics. You can upload them to Canva and add text, etc. I’ve compiled a Google Spreadsheet listing all the websites I know. It’s a bit disorganized but I’ll be cleaning it up later.

  • Add text to your images so people know what you’re writing about.
  • Use pictures of people.
  • Always fill out the ALT tags on your pictures.
  • Position your blog post image to the right or left in the first paragraph of your post
