How To Add Social Media Buttons to Your Email Signature Line

Thanks to the always incredible Gini Dietrich I’m sharing how to add social media icons to your email signature.

I opened an email from her last night and was taken aback about how neat and organized her email signature was.  It included links to the Spin Sucks blog and her various social media accounts. Plus it was done in a way that looked clean and simple. Of course I had to have it!
The program is called Wise Stamp and their tag line is “Promote things you care about. Make a better use of your emails.” I couldn’t agree more.  Why not share the networks we spend so much time growing with our email recipients? It only makes sense.
Here is a list of email apps I thought you might be interested in:
  • Twitter
  • Facebook

It’s currently available for Firefox, Chrome and Safari. I’m a Google gal so I downloaded the Chrome app and created two signatures within five minutes.  It was simple and easy to use.  Make sure you close your browser window and re-start for the signatures appear.

The signature automatically adds itself to each new message. It’s easy to switch between signatures (if you’ve made more than one), just click the WiseStamp icon in bookmarks bar. Two signatures are free. Check out the paid versions here.
