My dear friend Nancy Myrland published a blog post earlier today, Lawyers: Do These Questions About Social Media Sound Familiar? She mentions she writes a lot about social media and social networking because Lawyers have a lot of questions including:
- Where do I start?
- Who do I follow?
- Which sites should I use?
- How do I find the time?
- What should I say once I’m there?
- How do I sign up for the individual sites?
- What is the correct terminology?
Nancy is a Social Media Consultant, Speaker & Trainer, and a Professional Marketing Advisor, specializing in helping firms and professionals grow their business by strengthening relationships with their clients through the strategic use of Social Media.
In other words, she really knows her stuff! Nancy was also one of the first people I met when I joined Twitter in 2010 to pursue legal marketing. She was there to answer all of my questions, listen to me complain (yes, I do complain), and give me great advice. I learned most of what I know today from her. Also, when I gave birth to my third daughter, Nancy mailed me a beautiful necklace with three pearls in a pod – she remembers the little things.
How you can help Nancy
Here’s where I ask you to do something for me (and Nancy). The questions Lawyers ask help Nancy guide Lawyers in regards to social media.
Would you take 60 seconds out of your day and fill out the attached survey – it only has one question! Your answer(s) will help her tremendously and I’ll think you’re pretty awesome!
The survey can be found below, but in case there is any issue with it, here is the survey link – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/G29DDHP. Again, short, quick and easy, I promise!”
Your feedback and time is greatly appreciated as I know you have billable time to focus on! Thank you in advance.
