This is a neat tool to test out as it’s a new way to measure your influence in your industry/practice area.
According to LinkedIn, the Social Selling Index score measures your performance against four essential elements:
- Establish your professional brand – Learn more
- Find the right people – Learn more
- Engage with insights – Learn more
- Build relationships – Learn more

Overall, I think this is a cool tool to see how you rank against other professionals in your practice area but I wouldn’t take it as gospel. It will provide you with some useful information that you can use to benchmark your social media progress. It’s a good idea to jot down the numbers and check it on a monthly basis.
