The Perfect Law Firm LinkedIn Company Page

What You’ll Need:

  • You must own a personal LinkedIn Profile
  • You must meet LinkedIn’s requirements to add a Company Page
  • You must have a company email address (e.g. john@lawfirm.com) added and confirmed on your LinkedIn account
  • A cover photo that is 646 x 220 pixels or larger in a PNG, JPEG or GIF format. Please note you can crop the photo once it’s uploaded
  • A profile photo (firm logo file) that is 300 x 300 pixels

Time Estimate:

  • It will take 15 – 30 minutes to set up your LinkedIn Company Page if you have all the above requirements.

Create Your LinkedIn Company Page

  1. From your personal LinkedIn account, visit the Add a Company page
  2. Enter your firm’s name and your company email address. Tick off the verification box confirming you can verify the firm on LinkedIn
  3. Click “Continue”

  • LinkedIn will send an email to your company email address. Follow the instructions within that email to confirm your email address. If you receive a red error code, click here for potential fixes
  1. After your email address has been confirmed, you’ll be taken to your firm’s new LinkedIn Company Page. You’ll be asked to enter the following information:
  • Firm Name
  • Company Description (2000 character maximum)
  • Default Language
  • Designate Page Admins (2 page administrator minimum)
  • Upload Cover Photo
  • Upload Profile Photo (Logo)
  • Company Specialties (Please note these specialties can be used to get website traffic so consider using specific keywords)
  • Enter Firm Type, Company Size, Website URL, Industry, Operating Status, Year Founded and Firm Locations.
  • Click “Publish”
