Andrew Feldstein, Managing Partner of Feldstein Family Law Group, is Canada’s first YouTube Streaming Family Lawyer. As a disclaimer, Andrew is one of my favourite clients because he is always on the cutting edge of technology.
The ‘Ask Andrew’ Show
According to The Advocate Daily, Greater Toronto-area family lawyer Andrew Feldstein launched a phone-in show that broadcasts live via YouTube, providing free answers to legal questions for callers and listeners. Listeners can also email and text their questions.
During the show, Andrew answers questions from office desk. He is easygoing on camera and you can sense that callers feel comfortable talking with him. I live tweet during the show and I’m always amazed at the questions (and learn a lot myself).
Andrew says it best, “When you decide to end a marriage, or common-law relationship, there are questions. A lot of questions. Questions about custody of children, child support, spousal support and division of family assets. Sometimes, you have questions that are common and sometimes questions that are unique to you particular situation.” The ‘Ask Andrew’ show was created to start conversations, answer general questions and start action plans.
The next show is February 17, 2016 at 8:00 pm ET and you can watch it live here. If you have questions for Andrew, the call in number is 1-800-498-3486. You can also text your questions to “Ask Andrew” at 819-307-0262.
So what does this mean to all the Lawyers who don’t livestream via YouTube, Meerkat, Periscope or Blab? You don’t need to start a show but as a first step, watch Andrew in action and see if you get inspired. Many of these platforms are free and easy to use. And you can always hire me to help!
